A month long attempt to find the prop-books from a 1972 amateur production of Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit, based on an out-of-focus slide of the set deaccessioned from the collection which once contained it. During exhibit hours, the artist would either be in the library looking for books with some resemblance to those featured in this photo, or in the gallery reading and taking notes on the found texts. The public was welcomed to join in the search for books and meaning.
